Your questions

Another question? Write to us

How do I book?

Two options. Directly on this site, with 10% off your whole stay: choose your dates in the house calendar, enter your details and pay by card on Stripe's secure payment page; your card is only charged once we confirm your stay, usually within 24 hours (see the booking terms). Or on Airbnb, under Airbnb's terms: the button is on each house's page.

Are linens provided?

Yes, in both houses: towels, sheets and bed linen, plus soap, toilet paper and cooking basics (oil, salt, pepper).

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Lacanau: check-in from 4 pm, check-out before 10 am. Bordeaux: flexible self check-in with a secure key box, check-out before 12 noon. In both houses you can drop off your luggage if you arrive early or leave late.

When is the Lacanau pool open?

The private outdoor pool is available from April to October. It has no fence or lock: children must be supervised at all times.

Can I bring a pet?

No, pets are not allowed in either house (in Bordeaux, because of allergies in the family). Assistance animals are covered by Airbnb's rules.

Where can I park?

Lacanau: one free private space, and free street parking 20 metres away. Bordeaux: no parking on site; paid parking on the street or in a car park, and the tram a 4-minute walk away so you can do without a car.

Do the houses have air conditioning?

No. La Maison du Lac has central heating, La Maison de Pierre radiant heating; the bedrooms have blackout blinds or curtains.

Can I come with a baby?

La Maison de Pierre is not suitable for babies under 2 (the house has stairs). For La Maison du Lac, write to us and we'll tell you what's possible.

How far apart are the two houses?

About an hour's drive. Many guests like to combine a few days in Bordeaux with a few days by the water.
