Our house is a family home. It is a real haven of peace! We spend wonderful, truly happy times here.

The kitchen is fully equipped and open to the living area.
The other 4 bedrooms are upstairs. The house also has 4 toilets, handy when there are many of you.

The area and surroundings
We are in Le Moutchic: the house is 50 m from the lake, a 10-minute drive from the ocean (or 20 minutes by bike), a 3-minute drive from the golf course and a 7-minute drive from the supermarket. A few restaurants are a 3-minute walk away by the lake. Lacanau town and Lacanau-Océan are a 10-minute drive away.
On the Médoc coast, Lacanau brings two worlds together: a large freshwater lake lined with pine trees, ideal for children, sailing and paddleboarding, and the ocean, with its fine sandy beaches and waves famous among surfers. The house is in Le Moutchic, on the lake side, ten minutes from the beach.
- Lacanau lake (50 m on foot): Swimming in calm water, sailing, paddleboarding, kayaking, picnics in the shade of the pines. A few waterside restaurants are a 3-minute walk from the house.
- The beaches of Lacanau-Océan (10 min by car): Miles of sand facing the Atlantic, lifeguarded beaches in season and one of the best-known surf spots on the coast. The sunsets are spectacular.
- The cycle paths (Nearby): A network of cycle paths runs through the pine forest between the lake and the ocean: allow about twenty minutes by bike to the beach.
- Golf (3 min by car): For golfers, a course among the pines, very close to the house.
- The great wines of the Médoc (About 45 min): The châteaux along the wine route (Margaux, Pauillac, Saint-Julien…) can be visited by appointment, for a day of tastings.
- Bordeaux (About 1 hour's drive): And the Maison de Pierre, to combine ocean and city in the same trip.
